International News: Jeanneau at Paris Boat Show

Jeanneau to present over 30 models, including12 new yachts.

The Paris Boat show will open its doors in just a few days, and the Jeanneau shipyard is bubbling with activity in preparation for the event, particularly to inspire the show’s numerous visitors with dreams of ever more attractive new models!

IN SAILBOATS, the uncontested star of the 2009 show will be the new JEANNEAU 53. Her elegant, thoughtful design by Philippe Briand and the Garroni Designers places this exceptional new model in the range of sailing yachts over 50 feet. Comfort onboard, attention to detail and ergonomic design were all carefully considered to facilitate ease of movement onboard and handling at sea, for an enhanced sailing experience.

The new SUN ODYSSEY 42DS will also be presented alongside 10 other large Jeanneau sailboat models. Designed in the true maritime tradition, with construction and hull design by Marc Lombard, this model is oriented for performance, while the Garroni Design Cabinet designed her graceful deck and interior.

On the racing front, the SUN FAST 3200 is not to be left out. This year, the famous little red bombshell is going environmentally responsible, with a combustible battery and solar panel.

IN POWER BOATS, Jeanneau is developing at a spectacular rate, presenting nearly 20 models in the Paris including 9 new models. Of particular note is the innovative new LEADER line, composed of the Leader 8, 9 and 10. Featuring excellent performance at sea and safety onboard, the Leader also boasts a contemporary design, comfort onboard and a well-lit interior. These strengths, all for an attractive price, assure her a promising future in the market of cabin cruisers.

Equally worth a visit, the CAP CAMARAT line will be presented at the Paris Show. As of this year, Cap Camarats are now available in 3 design concepts:
- CC for Centre Console: a design featuring open space without a cabin, for practical and sport use
- WA for Walk-Around: designed for cruising pleasure, with a sundeck and a cabin
- DC for Day Cruiser: designed for cruising Nordic style with a very large cockpit.

Last but not least, the MERRY FISHER 10 is an attractive new powerboat model launched for the 2010 season.
